Working together
What types of businesses do you work with?
Small, growing, and established businesses across many industries — including e-commerce and online businesses, real estate, contractors and construction, restaurants, medical and dental practices, agencies, professional services, and family-owned businesses. If you’re not sure whether we’re a fit, ask.
Do you work with clients outside Michigan?
Yes. The firm is based in Troy, Michigan, and works with clients throughout the United States. Meetings happen by video and documents are exchanged electronically, so where you’re located doesn’t change the experience.
Can I work with you remotely?
Yes — most client work can be handled entirely remotely, whether you’re across town or across the country.
Do you work with individuals?
Yes. Much of the practice is focused on business owners, but we also prepare and plan individual returns, especially for people with more involved situations such as multiple income sources, rental properties, or income in more than one state.
Who will I actually work with?
Alec. Albanna CPA is built around a direct relationship with your CPA — the person who understands your situation is the person answering your questions.
Services
What accounting services do you provide?
Tax preparation and planning for businesses and individuals, bookkeeping, accounting and financial statements, payroll and compliance support, business advisory, and business formation and setup. See the services page for details.
Do you provide bookkeeping?
Yes — monthly bookkeeping, catch-up bookkeeping for businesses that have fallen behind, cleanup, and QuickBooks setup and support.
Do you provide tax planning?
Yes, and it’s central to how we work. Planning happens during the year, when there’s still time to make decisions — not only when the return is being prepared.
Do you work with S corporations?
Yes. That includes evaluating whether an S corporation election makes sense, preparing Form 1120-S and K-1s, setting up owner payroll, and planning around reasonable compensation and distributions.
Can you help new businesses?
Yes. We help with entity selection, the tax and accounting side of formation, accounting setup, and first-year questions like estimated taxes and paying yourself.
Getting started
How does the process work?
It starts with a quote request, a consultation request, or an email. We’ll talk through your situation and what you need, agree on scope and pricing, and then get you set up — including gathering documents and access to your accounting systems.
How do I request a quote?
Use the Request a Quote form. The more you share about your business and current accounting situation, the more useful the quote will be. You can also email alec@albannacpapllc.com directly.
How much do your services cost?
It depends on the scope — the size and complexity of the business, the condition of the books, and which services you need. You’ll receive a quote before any work begins.
What if my books are behind or messy?
That’s common, and it’s not a reason to wait. Catch-up and cleanup work is part of what we do. We’ll scope it honestly and get things to a reliable starting point.
Let’s make your accounting easier.
Tell us about your business or your situation. You’ll hear back from Alec directly — not a sales team.
